About Cisco Webex on Apple Vision Pro
Overview: Webex on Apple Vision Pro delivers an immersive meeting experience, utilising eyes, hands, voice, Personas, and Spatial Audio for a natural and ultimate meeting experience on Apple Vision Pro.
Immersive life-size canvas for collaboration: Webex for Apple Vision Pro leverages visionOS to provide a user-friendly experience, allowing users to manipulate participant videos and shared content windows with intuitive pinch and drag gestures. The dynamic representation of face and hand movements
Webex tools: In addition to the immersive canvas, Webex on Apple Vision Pro offers a complete set of Webex tools. These tools include background noise removal, real-time translations, closed captions, live polling, and more, enhancing the overall meeting experience on Apple Vision Pro.
AI-powered collaboration for spatial computing: Webex for Apple Vision Pro introduces AI-powered collaboration features for the spatial computing era. This includes automatic meeting and vidcast summaries, as well as automatic translation, enhancing productivity in secure spatial computing collaboration.
Low Carbon Mode: Control Hub’s Low Carbon Mode in Webex on Apple Vision Pro provides location-based insights to effectively manage energy consumption when low-carbon energy is unavailable, contributing to environmental sustainability.

A Captivating immersive scenarios that bring the Webex × NASA partnership to life will be key to a successful Vision Pro experience.
As the player enters the experience, a pre-recorded narrator will appear on the other side of a Webex call, providing instructions and story to the player on how to interact with the experience application.
When the player interacts with the experience, the narrator will react accordingly, giving feedback to the player.
This is handled with a local server which listens for events from the experience app and outputs our pre-recorded clips on a virtual webcam, picked up in Webex.
In this project, I experimented with Storyboarder.ai to make the storyboards for the experience. The result turned out very well. Although some extra adjustments were needed to ensure the accuracy in details and character consistency.
